It’s not uncommon for the same piece of personal data to relate more than one individual. Opinions, feedback and reputation involve statements by identifiable person about another; genetic contain information an individual, but also their relatives, ancestors descendants; communications both sender recipient; observations may be used make predictions others. Privacy cases papers have found these situations troubling, analyse them applying protection law a single subject. This paper instead treats “entangled” as involving multiple perspectives, examining how principles apply simultaneously different subjects data.
